Mt. Vernon trail to Bethesda, MD and back

Rode through two states and one district, ended up being a long, slow ride. I didn't really like riding on the trail.... there's too many people, roots and other obstacles. On the other hand, seeing the airplanes coming and going at the airport was amazing and hanging out and passing through some of the cities and seeing the national monuments was definitely worth the trip. And, as always, any day spent on the bike is a great day.... So I'm glad I did it but I think we will definitely be sticking to the roads from now on.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
