Day 608 ⛅ ashburtoning about

Down to the Solway bridge creek crossing and up into Ashburton, then wriggle around on streets not previously visited

19.0km on the Garmin when I got home, 18.96km when I looked on the Garmin website, 8.95km when I looked on Strava then 19.0km when I got to ridewithgps. Always interesting seeing how they vary slightly in length and duration for the same ride, where the data is fed from one to the next!

Spring weather is doing its thing, cold and wintery today with a rainbow off to the east against some very dark clouds. It looked very impressive until the rain hit from the west and blotted out the view

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
