Boulder-Ward-Brainard Lake Road Ride 8-29-21

Seven with 32mm gravel slicks. Sunny, cool for most of the ride, with East winds that increased as the day went by, finally switching to Westerly towards the ride's end. Rode with Dave Struck and we stayed together the whole ride on climbs as well as descents. Perfect weather day, actually got pretty cold on the descent from Ward to Hwy 36 - so glad I was riding the Seven with disc brakes!. Stopped for a Smoothie in Ward on the return and we visited a brewery in Gunbarrel at about mile 59. Good power numbers, huge climbing stats, legs are trashed.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
