South Dakota Black Hills Gravel Day 6 9-17-21

Seven. Sunny, cold in the morning so we got a late start up the road in Hill City., warmed up nicely later on but we had a strong South wind most of the day. Final day in the saddle for me, rode with Dave Struck, Tom, Mike, Kelly and a little with Steve and Heather. Another challenging day with some hard climbs and at times over rocky terrain that was more suited to my mountain bike. A very fun, interesting and beautiful ride and a great bookend for the week.

Over 6 days of mostly gravel riding from Sunday through Friday:
- 261.3 Miles
- 25,018 Feet climbing
- 28+ Hours Ride Time

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
