Seven with 32mm Gravel Slicks. Cold & humid, temps hovered around 38-39, cloudy at the start then mostly sunny and it felt warmer, SW/SSW winds started out around 10 mph, dropped to 5-6 towards the end. Nice day afterall, good route for the conditions - I didn't feel like freezing my ass off out on the road. Surprisingly didn't see that many other cyclists, as it was ok conditions if you have the right clothes for it. Dressed perfectly: long sleeve merino base layer, short sleeve poly t, Bontrager jacket, Rapha tights, 2 base layers of merino gloves with my old trusty DeMarchi wind proof shells. 2 layers of merino socks with upper and lower toe warmers sandwiched in between. Finally, tried out the new Shimano SH-MW501 winter boots and they were really toasty - seem to completely block out the wind and fit is perfect with multiple layers of socks, definitely a good purchase and I'll try them out tomorrow on the MTB.
