Another great day in the saddle with great friends!
With questionable weather, seven brave souls came out to get in some early season riding. We began our trek at the Carousel downtown and headed toward Deer Park. We got a bit wet at first and with one flat near the top of Shady Slope, a couple of our riders ended up in a bit of a time crunch. As such, Alex and Woody had to head home a bit early. The rest of us made our way out to Deer Park and back and I must say that my hat is off to brothers, Dave S, Steve B, Joe F, Brian C all putting in an amazing effort. The rain stopped just prior to our arrival in Deer Park but the temperature was near ideal! Once again we were blessed with our free, and natural trainer the wind. Today the wind, although not incredibly strong, was swirling meaning we were working against it most of the day regardless of direction of travel. The boys were real troopers though and together we pushed on through. Very little traffic, beautiful countryside and no accidents or mechanicals. All in all, Fantastic!!
