On this abnormally cool July ride, I crossed the 900 mile mark within the forests of Busse Woods. I left home at 2:33 and returned at 5:00 p.m. Skies were mostly to partly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 60s and moderate NW winds. I wore original Livestrong jersey with arm warmers, knee warmers, and Trek shorts. Home . . . to Cloverdale to Lawrence to Keeney to Lake to Bryn Mawr to West End to Maple to [Roselle Metra @ 2:53] to Rose to Lawrence to Plum Grove to Oriole to Bluejay to Longboat to Schooner to [path] to Wise (becomes Biesterfield) to White Trail to Rohlwing to [bike path] to [Busse Woods trail] to [Busse Woods]. I completed one loop (ccw), stopping to photograph elk @ 3:32. At 3:37, within the dense forested section, I surpassed the 900 mile mark and left the loop at 3:57]. I retraced my path back to [Roselle Metra @ 4:25] to Maple to Prospect to [Kemmering Park] to Bryn Mawr to Lake to Keeney to Argyle to Virginia to Lawrence to Cloverdale . . . to [Biscayne loop] to Home.
