A ride to Walgreens and then through Roselle and Schaumburg. I took a vacation day and started my ride at 11:05 a.m. and returned home at 12:40 p.m. Skies were mostly cloudy with temperatures in the low 60s and light NNW winds. An incoming thundershower rained on me for the final mile of the ride and BB-sized hail fell as I was stowing my bike in the garage. I wore long bib tights over cycling shorts and a long sleeve base layer under Livestrong jersey.

Home . . . to Cloverdale to Lawrence to [trail] to Lawrence to Springfield to [Walgreens] to Springfield to Nassau to Summerdale to Edenwood to Mensching to Bryn Mawr to [Kemmering Park] to Prospect to Maple to [Roselle Metra] to Rose to Lawrence to Plum Grove to Yosemite to Woodfield to Nerge to Blackhawk to Summit to Weathersfield to Northway to [Hanover Park-Schaumburg Trail] to [Olde Salem Park] to Hartmann to Mercury to Grove to [path] to Springinsguth to Fenz to [Schaumburg Metra Station] to Ryan to Travis to Gary to Central to Turnberry to Cloverdale . . . to Home.
