Honeybee Canyon MTB Ride 4-10-22

Fuel EX 9.8. Sunny, warm and very windy @ 12-16 mph from the SW. Started down by the OV Marketplace, got lost on the way up to Honeybee and spent a lot of time walking in Sand, then I discovered that the Big Wash Trailhead is open. I also picked up 50-60 goatheads per tire going across the gravel parking lot - took 25 minutes with a comb to clean them all out, had half a dozen punctures but Stan's took care of that.

Felt a little punky today, I chalk it up to yesterday's hard interval session and me getting my second booster shot in the afternoon. Still did a respectable 8.8 mph average, even with all the slow sand walking.
