Day 2 exploring the new neighborhood

Went into same neighborhood I explored yesterday but took more roads and found three of them go out to Hicks Rd. which is a main thoroghfare. Easily spent 45 minutes in that neighborhood.

Learned if I want to use Hicks Rd., I need to wait until 8:10am for traffic to die down.

Wandered through some other areas where new homes are being built. So, I can stay off Hicks for quite awhile if I so choose.

Discovered a little coffee/tea/treats wagon nearby. Enjoyed a visit with Jennifer while I drank my Arnold Palmer.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
