This ride starts from Fields Bridge Park in West Linn. The first 13-mile section covers Borland Rd, Sagert Rd, Boone's Ferry Rd and then Graham's Ferry Rd to Wilsonville Road. There is about 700 feet of climbing on this portion, mainly rollers. The next 2.6 miles is on Wilsonville Rd. There are 4 medium to long rollers on this stretch, adding another 225 feet of climbing. At mile 15.6 is the turn-off for Ladd Hill. There are two grueling climbs, but these are split up by a lengthy downhill. The first climb is 1.6 miles and gains 425 feet. A majority of the climb is 9-13%. At the junction of Edminston Rd, go left to continue on Ladd Hill. This is the long downhill. At mile 18.8 starts the second long climb. This one is 1.2 miles, but gains 460 feet, most of it at 8-10%.
At mile 20 is Bell Rd and relief. Turn right onto Bell Rd for a very long downhill. There is a series of sharp turns and short rises in the middle of the descent. The road eventually comes out at the Graham's Ferry intersection (which was crossed earlier in the ride). Continue straight on Bell Rd to Wilsonville Rd. Gear down before the stop sign because there is a 6-9% climb immediately after the stop. Go left on Wilsonville Rd and ride through Wilsonville to the Stafford Rd-Advance Rd- Boeckman Rd intersection (mile 26.9). Go right onto Advance Rd. After about 1/2 mile there is a steep downhill, followed by a steep uphill. After that, there are a series of rollers. Advance Rd comes out at SW Mountain Rd. Turn left onto SW Mountain Rd. This is a 3 mile stretch of gradual climbs, adding another 400 feet to the total climbing. Finally, at mile 32.5, turn right onto Turner Rd. Prepare for the turn as it is on a downhill and left-hand corner. Enjoy the long descent on Turner Rd to Borland Rd. Return to the park.
