Today we were either on or along I 90 the whole day. We got off and on I 90 four times for a total of 30 miles. The rest of the day was on a rural frontage road which was nice. Columbus, MT is the county seat of Stillwater county. It's original name was "Sheep Dip". The Yellowstone River flows near by. What do I do when not on the bike? For me everything is geared to getting house keeping done so as to get 8 to 9 hours of sleep before the next day's ride. Arrive at motel, snack, wash bike, air tires, haul bike and gear bag to room, unpack bag, lay out tomorrow's riding clothes and gear, hook computer and phone to internet, shower, find food, enter ride data into several programs, compose this ride update, add pictures, get in bed and sort through the cue sheets for the next day. The mornings are very regimented. Put bikes on racks 10 minutes before breakfast. Half hour for breakfast then load bags on trailer and head out. As we all say it's just like "Groundhog Day" Get through 24 hours and repeat. Tomorrow we head south to Powell, WY, entering our fourth state.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
