This route leaves Pine Point Park which is the trailhead to the northern most end of the Gateway State Trail. Go southeast on it and take a sharp left turn onto the Brown's Creek State Trail which goes into Stillwater after about 5.5 miles. In Stillwater cross the lift bridge and head up steep hill in Wisconsin coming back over the WI Hwy 64/MN Hwy 36 bridge. Then back through Stillwater and on the trail until Hazel Street where you turn south at sharp downhill road to MN 95. Very next left/right onto Dellwood Rd and next left onto Fairy Falls Road North (very steep grade up this road). This turns into Otchipwe Ave N. Take a right turn going NE on Stone Bridge Trail until it comes to Partridge Road N. Turn left on it and go north to Square Lake Trail N where you turn left and go westbound. To Norrell Ave. Cross the tracks and then turn right to return to Pine Pointe Park.
