Wisconsin #2 - 2022 Sep 10

On an abnormally chilly morning, Gary, Dave, Todd, Geoff, Bob, and I rode a round trip ride along the 400 State Trail connecting Wonewoc and Elroy, Wisconsin. We all drove to Wonewoc from our townhouse at Christmas Mountain Resort west of Wisconsin Dells. We started riding at 9:41 and returned back to our cars at 11:14 a.m. Skies were cloudy with a temperature of 62 with light NW winds. We turned back just short of Elroy out of concern for the worsening weather. We experienced periodic sprinkles, especially on the return leg. I wore my “Old Man” short sleeve jersey, shorts, and blue windbreaker.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
