Sky Road 11-24-12

This is Jim Swarzman's Sky Road mixed terrain brevet. It has about 10 miles of dirt road on the west Camino Cielo. I finally got to ride my Sequoia on the terrain that I built it for. It performed very well with the Vittoria Randonneur 35mm tires. About the only complaint was the excessive chain slap. I think it is caused by the replacement tensioning spring in the Cyclone GT derailleur.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
