Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Did a ride in the late afternoon. The weather was nice and cool, in the 70's. But the wind was prevailing from the South East. I did easy tempo all the way to the Banducci wall. Lifted the pace a little and kept it steady to the top of the climb. I did moderate tempo up to the top of SS, where I gave it a little kick. The rest of the way was modest tempo, as I was going into the wind for the better part from half way. I put a little bit more effort into Cummings Valley Road, and kept good tempo for the rest of the ride. Ailments, my right knee was bothering me for a little while in the first half of the ride, but went away without any changes in my pedalling style. Right calve tensed up a little bit going up the last part of the Cummings Valley Rd Climb. It went away just as quick. It was a solid ride considering the wind conditions. The bike is working well, but the right shifter has the same problem as the ride 2 or 3 times ago. Will have to inspect the shifter before the next ride. GoPro, GPS worked flawless.
