Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went riding in the early afternoon. The weather was just cool enough to wear arm/leg warmers. Was about to take of leg warmers, but decided not to. The wind prevailed from the south, so there was a nice tailwind on the way back. I did modest tempo to the top of Banducci, and pretty much the same till the top of SS. Did a little dig over the top. The return trip was a little higher tempo, and I lifted it up a little on the return Ascent. Ailments, my right outer knee was sore for the first 10-15 minutes. But went away. I could feel a little soreness in my right calve on the way back up Cummings Valley climb. Changing positions and riding style fixed that problem. Other than that, Gopro, GPS, Bike, Light all worked excellent today. Couldn't tell if there was any creaking in the bike. I reseated the back wheel, not sure if that helped. Concentration was good, of course a few lapses, but just for a short while. Balance felt good as well.
