Zellerbach Dog Creek Dead End!

From Scappoose: out CZ Trail, right turn on to Dog Creek. Long-forgotten overgrown two track disappeared after two miles. Backtracked to Columbia Forest Road, then west to Scappoose Vernonia Highway, then north to Pittsburgh Road, west to Wilark, then south on Wilark/Alder Creek to Spitzenberg, then back to Scappoose on CZ.

Great ride. Only saw two cars and that was on the pavement SVH from Columbia Forest to Pittsburgh. Great descent on outbound CZ after crossing Pisgah Lookout. Great descending also on Pittsburg through logged and wooded sections. At end of Alder Creek there was some banjo factor but some very nice pavement on last stretch into Spitzenberg.

No food/water anywhere.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
