Final exam time! I finished! Now I just sit back and wait for the pro team offers to roll in, right? Maybe not - they don't want riders who are too stupid to start their Garmin at the beginning of the ride. Oops. All the data for this finale therefore comes from Zwift. My times for the Titans Grove KOM and the sprint were effectively unchanged from the start test: 2:52.2 now versus 2:56.3 then (about 2% faster). The sprint was marginally slower, 30.56 now vs. 29.97 then (again 2%). The volcano climb did show improvement - 13:50.1 today vs. 14:34.1 then (about 5%). I loafed along between segments both times, so overall numbers for the ride might not have meaning, but at the start I did 1.77 W/kg Avg Power, 6.62 W/kg Max Power, 146 W Normalized Power. Today was 1.55 W/kg Avg Power, 5.94 W/kg Max Power, 142 W Normalized Power. Maybe I'm a tad more efficient? I'm slower than last year, though - 2021 sprint was 30, middle 2:37 and climb 11:43. Getting old.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
