Gorgeous sunny Fall day, warming as we rode. Lovely roads in Carlisle plus BFRT. Lowell trolley rails & river roads, mill buildings, etc - would have been fun to stop & spend hours exploring. Passed thru parts of UMass Lowell campus. Some parks had amazingly colorful trees! Ride back to cars was deceptively steadily uphill (plus some true hills) - tough on our tired legs. Group got a bit separated on roads out of Lowell due to some traffic lights.
