Probably the most scenic ride filmed in 2016 & a really amazing ride for anyone interested in cycling the Alps. Starts just north of Barcelonnette with a long gorge ride that leads to a higher alpine Valley. Eventually you will take a right turn & start climbing through pine forests & out onto the final section with some amazing views of the Maritime Alpes. This climb also has one of the best descents in the collection. The profile is not too hard staying below double figures for most of it & with the harder sections being fairly short & spaced out.Training Tip - This one of the longer climbs in the Tacx collection at 27km so take this one with respect & keep your efforts firmly in the hard endurance to Tempo 70-80% LT range. This climb becomes harder towards the end so save any heroics for the final part
