The Route du Hautacam is a 200 km long tour through the scenic countryside of the Gers and the Hautes-Pyrénées that ends at the top of the famous Hautacam. Head south over easy rolling roads to the snow covered Pyrenees which slowly grow in size and are the final challenge. Part 4 of the Route du Hautacam starts with what is possibly the finest view in the whole Tacx Real Life Video collection. You are now at the foothills of the Pyrenees. It doesn’t take long after the start from the hamlet of Luc for the first of two steady climbs to appear. The consecutive climbs are followed by a scenic descent down to the valley just south of the city of Lourdes.
