28/10/22 奈良歴史の道をたどって大安寺へ

11時半過ぎに出発。押熊町から秋篠寺をすぎて歴史の道を探すが、住宅地の中の小道に入ってしまって地図上の道が見つからない。近鉄大阪線の線路を越えて西大寺を目当てにやっと歴史の道に入るが、ここから垂仁天皇陵までまた道に迷う。歴史の道はごくまれに四つ角に石の道標があるだけで、自転車ではなかなか見つけづらい。唐招提寺、薬師寺、奈良商工高校などを目印にやっと大安寺へ到着。かつては仏教の総合大学として南都七大寺の一つで壮麗な伽藍を誇ったのが、今は中門など一部分が残されているだけの寺である。ここからJR京終駅を経て奈良町を走って帰る。14時半前に帰着。

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
