This ride started from the Pacific City Presbyterian Church. The loop portion of the route continues on Brooten Road to the Ferry St. bridge. The route crosses the bridge to the junction for Old Woods Rd. Stay straight. The route eventually comes back out at this junction. Ferry St. becomes Sandland Rd just past the Old Woods Rd junction. There is a short, gradual hill just past the junction, followed by a steady descent to the McPhillips Drive junction. Continue right to stay on Sandlake Rd. The next 6.4 miles is a nice, steady spin, passing through Terra del Mar, Sitka Sedge Natural Rec Area and the Sandlake Rec Area. At the junction with Cape Lookout Rd, turn right to stay on Sandlake Rd. Caution: The next 4 miles to Highway 101 is grooved pavement. Do not ride on the shoulder due to many cutouts in the pavement . Go right on 101. This is a nice section, but can be busy and there is little shoulder for most of it. Ride through Beaver and then into Hebo. Continue through Hebo to Cloverdale (mile 24.8). Turn right onto Old Wood Rd. This 5 mile section goes through farms and has little traffic. However, there are several rough spots. At mile 29.4 the route comes back to the Ferry St. junction. This time go right and continue through Pacific City via Brooten Rd to Highway 101. Turn right and go south 1 mile to Highway 130. Turn left onto 130 and after 2.5 miles turn left onto Meda Loop Rd. This little 2.75 mile loop has some fun rollers, with some rough spots and comes out at HIghway 101. Turn right (north) and return to Pacific City.
