Ride 11/11/2022 Easingwold Awayday Recce from Cattal

Clear demonstration of need to allow an hour Cattal to Easingwold. Makes 9.00 start difficult without horribly early start. Strong SW winds but fine sunny day otherwise. Caulkleys Bank was its usual challenging self, despite some help from tailwind - had forgotten what a killer it is. Real fun started after coffee and scone at Helmsley - uphill into headwind all the way to visitor centre at Sutton Bank. Jelly legs thereafter. Just made for 1628 train from Cattal. Punishing day but unseasonably warm.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
