Shoe Factory Woods MTB Ride 11-14-22

Fuel EX 9.8. Sunny, a bit warmer - in the high 30's/low 40's, a bit of wind but not really a factor in the woods. Trails were perfect with just a few wet spots. Park District was doing controlled burns in the North prairie but it didn't affect my ride. It was amazing to watch.

Beautiful cold Fall day, had a wonderful hard ride with one of my fastest solo times at Shoe Factory. Didn't see any other cyclists and only a few hikers. But I did see 4 big white tail deer. I sure wish CAMBR would take over this space and add some MTB trails.

I did my usual route: 2-3 passes over each trail, once in each direction. The exception being the grass trails in Janura FP East of IL-59, where I just did one loop.
