Sunday Lunch at the Queens Head

On a bright but cold Sunday morning Liliane, Jacky, Vas, and Paul followed me out of Uxbridge to North Hillingdon and across Pole Hill Open Space to elevenses at Northola Park. While loitering there we were joined by Bernie and Ivy.
Leaving there we headed for Oldfied Lane across Marnham Fields. Turning off Oldfied Lane we found the entrance to Ravenor Park which was traversed to The Broadway, where Bernie and Ivy left us, then on through quiet residential roads to the Uxbridge Road.
The route taken was past Southall park and on Norwood Green, through Heston Park and on to The Queens Head at Cranford for lunch.
Built in 1604, the Queen's Head was the first pub in England to be granted a spirits licence.
After lunch we returned home via Cranford Park, Harlington, Sipson, and West Drayton.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
