San Vicente Redwoods recently opened up and I wanted to check it out. Problem is, there really aren't that many trails. I noticed on Santa Cruz Mountains Trail Stewardship website a park that I'd never been to before - DeLavega Park.
So I went to DeLavega first because it worked out better for the commute. No traffic on the way but I wanted to avoid the rush hour traffic on 17, 85, and 280 on the way back.
There's less at DeLavega than San Vicente but what was there was fun. It's pretty rooty and technical on some sections of the trail and the last trail, La Corona Trail had some biggish drops. Not so big that I couldn't do them but big enough that I didn't. :)
I also got a little lost in there. I wasn't really able to route anything using Strava or RideWithGPS so I was just winging it and didn't quite find the trails I wanted to get to La Corona. I ended up on the golf course but managed to find it in the end.
I think this park would be a nice place to go to decompress after a long day. There's no hard climbing and the canopy of trees is pleasant.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
