Muang Khua - Dien Bien Phu (Vietnam)

Leaving Laos under a cloudy sky. There is 2 mountains to climb for the vietnamese border. The 1st one is easy, the 2nd one... too ! Just longer, but nothing to be afraid of. Both are smooth tarmac and no car, even less trucks ! We leave Laos with a stamp and reach Vietnam across a no-country land. The descent is narrow & less pleasant with a quarry sending tons of small rock & white dust all over. Arriving in chaotic Dien Bien Phu is a radical change from Laos. Can't wait to see more !

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
