Bergen - Lake Kalandsvatnet Ride

Transfer from Bergen to Ulven: 35 min
This ride is a good workout. First part can be busy, the road has no shoulder and is narrow. It soon goes around the lake and after crossing the main road continues into the pine forest. at 3/4 of the ride, there is a 2 miles of steep uphill, the most challenging in the area. After that is pleasant and mostly downhill. The ride can end at mi 24, before meeting the main road, but if you want to add extra mileage, after staying shortly on the E39 (heavy traffic) you will head off and loop around the beautiful lake (cycling path). Transfer back to Bergen: 25 min
