Clive’s first ride as leader and 11 loiterers followed him out of Uxbridge across the common and round Ruislip to elevenses at the Lido where Ann joined us.
After the break Don left us and we made our way around the Lido past Haste Hill Station and through Ruislip Woods to Northwood and on to enter The Moor Park Estate. leaving the estate we made for the and joined the Edbury Way for a short way
before leaving it to take the path through Holywell and on through Cassiobury Park en route to lunch at The Essex Arms.
After lunch we retraced our tyre tracks back to the Edbury Way which we followed to Batchworth where we joined the towpath of the Grand Union Canal which was followed to South Harefield and a tea stop at the Bear In The Barge PH.
After tea the group dispersed home with the Hillingdon contingent returning through Denham and the Buckinghamshire Golf Course.
