Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather let up today. It's cloudy, a bit cold, but not raining. The wind is moderate from the South East. I went to the Alpine Forest today. I was a bit cold in the first 10 minutes, but quickly got warmed up. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. I removed my face mask and then headed up the Banducci Wall. There was quite a bit of traffic mitigation. After reaching Arosa, I was able to put it into steady concentration mode. The minutes went fast. I was near max going over the top. I zipped around the backside and then headed to the summit of Banducci. When I got there, I took a few moments rest, fed a Clif Bar, then headed back down the mountain. There was a bit of traffic mitigation on the way down, but once I made it back to OTR, it was mostly relaxing fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down after reaching the top of Weston. Concentration was good. The morale felt good. Minimal lapses, no gremlins. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I fed a Clif Bar and had half my Gatorade and a bit of water. Gear worked flawless. Still have to check the GoPro footage. Ailments, just some hand soreness. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
