2023-01-10 Mt Lemmon 7 Cats

Starting out on this 35.5 mile ride (my gps lost a mile), I nearly froze biking down to Le Buzz to meet the group. While there I added another jacket and warmers gloves, thinking if I don't get warm I may bale out any time. But as we began climbing to higher elevation the air unpredictably warmed to very comfortable temperature. So I kept pushing up to 7 Cats where I ultimately turned around. We were rewarded by the waterfalls cascading down the cataracts from the melting snow up higher.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
