Clear sky, 47°F, Feels like 46°F, Humidity 49%, Wind 3mph from W - by Klimat.app An interesting Sunday ride today, dodging sand bars across the road on Bear Canyon, Snyder, Soldier Trail Roads, as well as a water crossing at Agua Caliente Wash. Lots of traffic--partly due to a long line waiting to drive up Catalina Hwy or diverted to other roads. I got a picture of a beautiful giant egret resting in a tree at Agua Caliente Park. The group split up at the return to Tange Verde, four who decided to cut over to Freeman Rd despite my warnings that Wentworth Wash would also be flooded! They ended up portaging their bikes through two areas of deep running water :-) We met up with them again at the top of Freeman, but by that time Paul & I were headed back home. Thanks to Dale, Cheryl, Pam, Nils, Paula, and Paul for an adventurous outing.
