I found Bay Area Bike Tag #432 at Kirk Community Center in San Jose. I took a photo of my bike there and rode to a new location for a photo to post of the next tag for others to guess. https://www.reddit.com/r/BAbike/comments/10n4e9x/bike_tag_433_green_hills_and_lots_of_fences/
To play you have to guess the location from the photo. Since you've seen my route, you're disqualified from playing this round. (The point of the game is to guess from the photo and get there and to your new tag first.) But there will be more rounds from other players. [edit: after the tag was found, I made the ride public.]
I had a 10-day waiting period before playing Bay Area Bike Tag again because I have over 20 tags. That gives others a chance to play. But this was a tough tag. Even as I started this ride, I was just exploring and didn't know where the tag was. In the past I never found the tag when I went exploring and didn't start out knowing where it was. While riding south on the Coyote Creek Trail to South SJ, I got an idea for another thing to search based on one of the hints. After I eliminated Seven Trees Community Center, which has a similar mural to the tag photo, I tried the new search and figured out it's probably at Kirk Community Center. So I abandoned the exploration route I had loaded into my bike GPS and rode directly there. It turned out to be correct.
The new tag #433 is in the elliptical-shaped field at Kurte Park, facing toward Communications Hill. The fake-out in this is that the hills might tempt people to look for it in the mountains either side of the valley. But it's a hill in the middle of the valley. But it's a relatively well-known park. So the tag might not last long, unless the angle of the picture from within the field is unfamiliar. The bridge in the background is over the Union Pacific/Caltrain tracks. I waited for a bit to get a picture of a Caltrain coming through. Though that picture is here on the activity and won't be visible in public until the tag is found, or maybe as a hint if it lasts that long.
