Legends at Arrowhead Flat and Crash

I led a large group of 14 riders on a clockwise route that we hadn’t ridden this year. All was going good on a warm 70s day until mile 22 when Jim gets a rear tire flat. He was about 5th in line, pulled off bike path when big Roger clips the back tire of Ed and goes down causing Kermit to crash into him. Roger got his leg pretty scraped up, his handle bars askew and pedal bent. Jim and Roger walked back to Rio Vista Park while we continued another 8 miles back. I got the car and went to pick them up. It turns out Jim’s flat was caused by a tube failure which Savage Bike Shop warranteed. Rogers knee took the worst of it, swollen and he may have to see if it’s broken.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
