2023-02-04 Doyle HS Livingston

A totally new route thanks to unexpected circumstances. Red Oak in Livingston was under construction, with soil spread, and powdered cement about to be added, so we turned around and took the 25 route backwards. This added 12 miles to the planned routes. Fire tower road had another unexpected obstacle: Water on the road for as far as we could see, so again we turned around and took a new route again (441 to the interstate). Came back in with Dave who had to be somewhere this afternoon.

Ted had an unexpected event too. His right handlebar drop broke. The second time for this particular failure on aluminum bars. Watch that corrosion. It might save your life.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
