Bikepacking Patagonia to Superior

Lots of unexpected harsh weather, being cold, wet, with rain, sleet, snow, and wind gust over 40mph we made the hard call to pull the plug 60 miles short of our goal. We still covered around 300 miles and tons of elevation, saw some amazing scenery, and pushed our bodies and gear to the limits. It’s the first time I’ve never even considered pulling out of a trip early, but this was the right call. Weather only got worse and pray after making the call. I also had to start recording gps tracks because I couldn’t keep my phone and battery pack charged while in the backcountry, so mileage and elevation isn’t accurate.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
