Start ride from Butte Creek Elementary school in Marquam. First 10 miles travels Drake Road, Marquam Road, Meridian Road and left onto Gallon House Road. The covered bridge is at mile 9.6. Cross the bridge and go right on Hobart Rd to Mt. Angel HIghway. Make a left here and continue about a mile to Pine Street. Go left and ride through Silverton, coming out on Water Avenue. Continue to Quall Rd for a short, steep hill. Turn left on Madrona Heights Road to a downhill stop at Evans Valley Rd. Turn right then a quick left onto Valley View Rd and take this to Highway 213. The next section is the Abiqua Road loop. Abiqua Road NE crosses Highway 213 back to Meridian Rd. Turn right on Scott's Mills Road for a 4-mile segment into Scott's Mills. The final 15 miles covers Knowlens Bridge Road, Kropf Rd, Gibson Road, Barlow Road into Monitor. Go left on Meridian Rd and finish via Marquam Rd, Wagon Road and finally 213. Blustery day with SW-W wind. Showers developed about mid-way through the ride, but only got clipped by some small hail for a couple minutes.
