2023 Portugal Tour Day 16 Oviedo to Gijon

Today was pretty much a commute -
I left Oviedo at 11:30 and after 6 miles I eventually cleared the suburbs into affluent looking countryside with spa hotels and a golf course. Next I was dropping down a long hill shadowing the motorway and after a few ups and downs including a crazy steep click that must have been over 20% I was in the Gijon suburbs but I had picked up a Via Verde cycleway which I followed for 4 Mike's before it veered away from the City Centre at which point I picked up a long avenue straight into the centre.
I visited the beach to complete my Coast to Coast Iberia for the 6th time and I posted a video of the event on Facebook.
I reached the hotel before 1pm but the room was ready.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
