Cemetery Exploration

Mid to upper 40s, W & S wind, sunny. Four other riders, all but one part of a group of older guys headed S on
Grandview just before a crew was exposing the sewer and water valve covers. I was planning for a longer ride that turned into an exploration of the New Tacoma Cemetery. I found a path, of sorts, around the perimeter of the undeveloped part of the cemetery. That was fun, and I only had to dismount once. It would make a nice little bird walk. There is also a large open field that I guess is habitat for birds, too. The different sections are interesting, especially the section with black stones and Cyrillic writing, which I assume are from the former USSR. The pet area is growing.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
