Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Went on an early afternoon ride. The weather was absolutely beautiful. With the exception that the winds were coming from the north. The tailwind was so strong on the descent, I had to brake alot. I hit over 42mph today, which is a rarity on this ride. I felt pretty good most of the way. Today was the first day that I tried the San Marco saddle. Anatomically, I think it was a sound saddle. But there was one problem with it that was a make or break descision. The saddle's surface is sticky. So, you can't adjust your seating position (ie, slide forward and back). Because of this, I've decided to keep the Fizik saddle and return the San Marco. At the bottom of Keene, I noticed that I was sitting a little high on the saddle, so I lowered it about 1/4 inch or so. I think it needs to go down around 1/2 inch or so. My back was aching on the last half of the ride and I attribute this to the high saddle position that I was in. Needless to say, I'm going to be adjusting my seat height when I put the Fizik saddle back on. I ordered a new quick-release seat clamp and new skewers. I'm hoping the seat clamp will make it easier for minor adjustmens while I'm out on my ride. Other than my lower back soreness, I had some right handed numbness. That went away after shaking off my hand. Gear, no problems. Shifting worked great. I'm having to still learn the shifting. Sometimes my fingers slips off of one lever to another and that causees a miss shift. I blame this on the lack of my experience. All other electronics are good. I put the head/tail lights on strobe mode, I think it gets people's attention better. Concentration and balance was good. Although, balance on this ride was negated due to the seat's high position. My legs felt good. No heavy legs today. I was well within my limite and I calculated my efforts excellent. All-in-all, a real good ride.
