Wow, this has to have been one of the most spirited rides I've had in quite some time! Stuart and I tore up the road, catching wheels and generally zooming around the place for two full laps. What a thrill!! This all comes as a great surprise to me as I got very little sleep last night and woke up feeling as if my head and ears were stuffed with cotton. Kaylee got home late from a Madison Square Garden concert, walking in around 1am. Of course that set off a fit of Blaze barking. Sleep was further disturbed around 3am with more Blaze barking at some revelers on the street. At the very start of the ride, I told Stuart that I was feeling a bit under the weather and not to expect too much from me. But we all know how these things generally go - once I see a catch-able wheel coming by, all bets are off! So, a great ride, with crystal clear blue skies, a pronounced wind out of the north at around 10, and temps in the low seventies. What a memorable day on the bike!
