Great day of riding for me in cool temperatures. TJ invited me to join him on the Acton Loop, plus a run up to the burned out Mt Gleason fire camp. TJ had a flat up there, but fixed it quite quickly.
My R knee was barking to start with because of strain I put on it riding my single speed up Big T yesterday, but I had taken 800 mg of ibuprofen the night before, and it warmed up and felt pretty good after maybe 90 minutes, and I only felt a handful of twinges during the day, except for our spin down Soledad Canyon when we had such a great tailwind that I couldn't spin fast enough to take full advantage. Spinning at over 100 rpm at times was WAY more than my knees are used to and the R knee started to bark again until I eased up a bit, after which it was OK for the rest of the ride, even climbing Sand Canyon and Little T.
With the cool temps, I had my best time climbing Angeles Forest Hwy from Upper Big T to Mill Creek Summit today, which was a very pleasant surprise considering how slow I have been all year this year. I could say my old form came back from retirement to make a surprise 1x appearance. ;-)

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
