Powell Butte - Crooked River Loop

Great short all-paved overnighter for any time of the year. There are many BLM campgrounds along the Crooked River that are open year-round. Some have water, some do not. For this ride, I camped at the Chimney Rock CG and hiked the 1.25mile trail up to Chimney Rock for some great views. Good option for getting started on the bikepacking season if all the dirt option are still too wet.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
