HCMF Meet at the Dog & Crook, Braishfield

A damp and gray ride to the pub. I chose to go via Winchester, Shawford Down, Otterbourne, Hocombe & Ampfield and return via Slackstead, Hursley and Oliver's Battery. The sun did pop out for about half an hour as I made my way home.
Nice lunch, but the pub was very cramped with lots of Christmas Lunches taking place. Poor Don could not find a seat so he went on elsewhere.
I struggled a bit on some of the hilly bits. They are not high but there are some steep inclines.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
