45mi bike ride from Charlotte. Well, not the greatest performance. I suppose it was ok considering.....Started out with a bit of a stomach ache. Had a crepe for breakfast with greasy cheese and bacon. Put that on top of last night's ribeye, veg, desert, takillya, wine, & lemonchelo. Just a bit of a stomach ache and, perhaps, a hangover. On top of, it hit 90° and I started just afternoon to catch the heat of the day on the country roads. And the bike I rented has fat 37mm gravel tires, not the best for road. The bike shop, Bicycle Sport Uptown, took really good care of me and got me going with the best they had. They kept adding on all the little extra details that they could for my safety and comfort. Really good people. At least there was not much wind, and there are no hills. (They kept telling me my rout will take me up the mountain, hahaha) About 10 mi in I almost puked, and, as I tell everyone else, right after you puke, then you can start training. So I went another 15 mi to a nice little local ice cream shop for some energy and air-conditioning. From there I found the straightest 20 mi route back to my hotel. Good day, even if a little slow.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
