大和川右岸は頻繁に走行するものの、左岸はほとんど走行したことがない。なので、柏原~堺の間で左岸側の走行環境を確認するために走ってみた。
新大井橋南詰(国道170号)から大正橋南詰(府道2号)の間は、府道174号と並行する堤防道路で快適走行。
大正橋南詰(府道2号)から明治橋(府道186号)の間は、左岸側の渋滞しやすい交通流を避けて右岸側を走行。
明治橋(府道186号)で左岸側に渡り、東除川左岸の瓜破第44号(?)を走行するが、この路線に面する事業所が多いうえに、これらに出入りする重交通も多いため、路面に溜まった砂埃などが舞い上がる中を走行することになる。
阪神高速14号松原線を過ぎると事業場がなくなり、走行環境はマシになる。

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
