2023-06-12 Cinder Rock Pile

Paul & I left the house at mid-morning to ride up Century Drive toward Mt Bachelor. By the time we reached Meissner Snow Park we realized the wind was picking and the temperaire was lowering. Neither one of us was very warmly dressed, so the decision was made to continue on to the ODOT cinder rock pile as our destination. At 2,274 total elevation gain we finished the ride feeling that we'd gotten a pretty good workout. At my top speed of 39.2 mph I did feel the chill in the air.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
