Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was colder than the previous few weeks. The wind was turbulent and the temperature cold. I decided to do the SS loop in hopes that I would get a gernerous tailwind on the way back. That was not the case. The winds were turbulen at and around SS. So, I either had a cross-wind, head-wind, or a tail-wind (seldom). Despite the weather, I felt pretty good. There were some points where the cold was biting into my feet as I didn't wear any shoe covers. My concentration was in and out, but mostly good. Considering the weather, I think it's acceptable. Balance was good. I stretched my back and legs a few times, that seemed to keep the pains away from the usual lower back and calf muscles. My gear is working well. I found out yesterday that there is a firmware upgrade for my di2 groupo. I ordered the necessary hardware to perform the update. All other devices was working well, with a slight notation for the GPS. It displayed a message saying that the batteries were running low. The ride was less than 2 hours. The battery was said to last 8 hours. I'm not sure what to make of this, so I'm going to give it a month or two and decide if it needs to be RMA'd. Also, Gopro was working great, but the battery depleted around 1:50 hours. Again, not sure what to make of that, but I think it's acceptable given the weather. It usually tops out around 2:00 - 2:10 hours. Just a foot note. I saw a rare bird that was walking on banducci on the descent. I'm pretty sure I got it on video. Will have to check that out!
